Dr. Allison Dylewski, DVM
Allison M. Dylewski, DVM, was born and raised in Erie, PA. Dr. Dylewski spent her undergraduate years in Erie, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Mercyhurst University in 2005. Given several choices of veterinary schools, Dr. Dylewski opted to escape the winter weather for a few years and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Dylewski completed a small animal rotating internship at the Texas A&M University Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in 2010. During her internship, she became enthralled with emergency medicine. Dr. Dylewski has previously practiced at emergency and referral hospitals in Erie, PA and Detroit, Michigan before moving to Buffalo, NY in 2018. She joined NEAH in June of 2020.
Dr. Dylewski's professional interests include toxicology, emergency soft tissue surgery, and ultrasonography. She co-authored a paper in the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association on the ultrasonographic appearance of gallbladder sludge in dogs in 2016. She is a member of the American VeterinaryMedical Association (AVMA) and Buffalo Academy.
Dr. Dylewski shares her home with her husband, their three children, 3 cats (Nadzieja, Lily, and Lilac), a Pekingese named Bumble and a bearded dragon named Trogdor. Her personal interests include collecting and drinking loose leaf tea, boating on Lake Erie and RV camping with her family.
